Video thoughts on the comprehensive loss that DC United laid on Toronto FC  Saturday evening at BMO Field. In this edition I take a look back at the game, give props to the supporters groups that set the bar higher on Saturday, try and find a couple of positives in the muck, question how BMO Field Security enforces the rules selectively and finally try and take a quick look at the next game versus Columbus.

Oh yeah, I also come to the conclusion that Charlie Davies is an arrogant douche who needs a serious dose of humility!

Your comments are of course always welcome and appreciated.

  1. … but I’d like to have Davies as a starting striker on my MLS team. Holds the ball up well but has the wheels to hang off the shoulder of the deepest CB and accelerate on to through balls and has predatory instincts. Douchey? Yes. Would I have him on my team? In a heart beat.

You speak about having no quality midfield service to the forwards last night but then you praise the attacking mid, Cordon. His getting the MOTM is a case of the one eyed man being named the king amongst the land of the blind. He’s very young and he’s going to be a good one, down the road, but not now. He’s not the answer. I like his potential, but he is not the attacking mid the team needs. DeGuzman is an extremely highly paid holding mid who will help with defensive side and linking play but won’t score goals nor generate offensive chances for the attackers.

Tchani was poor: not skillful enough to be an offensive force, but did little offensively. Needs to pick it up considerably or will be on the bench.
