Six points in four games and currently second place in the group stages of the CONCACAF Champions League is tally after Toronto FC defeats Tauro of Panama 2-0 at BMO Field on Wednesday.

In this video blog I take a look back at the game and I try and place the relative success TFC has recently had in all competitions into some sort of context. And I take a look ahead at the scenarios that might still give Toronto a chance to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League during the upcoming winter/spring.

  1. the games was good for the first 20-25 mins…then slowly died..we got a decent goal and sat back for the 3 points…the attendance sucked….TFC best fans in MLS…my ass that no longer holds true..

  2. @Mighty TFC I have to agree with your point about the attendance last evening. I did not hear the announced numbers of people there and with a ton of freebies floating around from the Dallas game the numbers were very disappointing indeed.

Perhaps Pumas might be a bit of a better draw than Tauro was. We will see in six days I guess.

  3. Hi Tim,

Are you going to post a story or video blog about next years season ticket package? Would be great to read and or listen to your views. Keep up the great work.

Yesterdays home game attendance versus Tauro FC was: 10,132. Posted in yesterdays Toronto Star.

P.S. Saw you at yesterdays, wanted to chat, but I did not want to interrupt. Maybe next time.

    Your friend Pedro.
