I take a few moments to reflect on the draw tonight in Vancouver, why three games on the road without conceding a goal is a great accomplishment and why I don’t expect to hear a lot of whining from Whitecaps fans next week when the Impact runs out the scrubs.

My message is this. Go to the game. Have fun. Enjoy seeing world class players that we can only regularly see on television up close, and the fact that Toronto FC actually has a great chance to win this game (again all due respect Bolton) makes it even more likely that it will be a great summer evening at BMO Field.
…The fixture list for Toronto FC is way too crowded for Preki to settle upon a starting XI and run them into the ground at this point. At some stage, either sooner or later, that amount of games will catch up with a club that does not rest players from time to time. Furthermore there has to be, even though the fan in me does not like it from an emotional sense, more of an emphasis placed on League versus Cup play. And the draw between Vancouver and Montreal last week out west helps make this doable…
