About the Blog

The View From the South Stands will attempt to document a single fan’s journey supporting Toronto FC. I am not a journalist, nor will I be breaking news on this site. I stand and yell in the South Stands of BMO like thousands of Toronto FC supporters and I live and die with my club.

I am a member of a supporters group but the blog will not be about that, rather I will try and provide a fan’s voice in commenting about the club, the results, the fan experience and our aspirations. I will try and post video comments after each TFC game, home and away this season.

I support my club with all my heart but I reserve the right to call them out when I feel it is the right thing to do. Support should not be blind support. Danny Dichio is God. I enjoy nothing more than standing in the south stands and cheering on our club in our stadium in our city through the good and the bad, and I hope that you the reader get some sort of insight into that culture as we get into the new season.
